NABJLA vice president | politics & pop culture journalist
Jarrett Hill is a freelance journalist focused on the intersections of politics and pop culture, contributing to The New York Times, NBC News, ESSENCE, The Hollywood Reporter, CNNi, and GQ.
Hill is most known for breaking the Melania Trump/Michelle Obama plagiarism story during the 2016 election. He's hosted a podcast (and subsequent Facebook Live series with NBC BLK), Back2Reality, since 2012.
An alum of Clark Atlanta University, born and raised in the Bay Area, he's a big fan of binging cable news, primetime dramas, reality television, and design shows. Beyond that he's usually in the kitchen cooking or in the aisles of a store shopping for his interior design clients at Jarrett Hill Design.
