Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Los Angeles Urban League
Mr. Brian Williams is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Los Angeles Urban League. His career, spanning 25 years, includes advising Fortune 100 CEOs and senior executives as a management consultant, and managing business units as a senior executive at Procter & Gamble and Pulte Homes.
Since 2006, he has devoted his energies to coaching and training executives of mid-sized firms to manage and professionalize their operations in preparation for growth, succession or sale. The challenges faced by small, minority companies are familiar to Mr. Williams, as he was an entrepreneur himself, being a second generation owner and operator of a company for several years between college and business school. Mr. Williams earned an undergraduate degree from Yale College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management in New Haven, CT. At the Urban League Mr. Williams manages all of the organization’s programs including workforce development and training initiatives, the Entrepreneurship Center, and others.
